Aquarium Sleepovers Aren't Just For Kids Anymore! 

Get ready to discover what happens at night at the world's largest Aquarium.  With the Georgia Aquarium’s new Sleepover program, you have a special opportunity to explore the Aquarium after hours and sleep beside our world-class exhibits.  To incorporate all ages, the Aquarium has family sleepovers, youth sleepovers and the newly added adult sleepovers!  Scroll down to learn more.

NEW Adult Sleepovers:

Who: This program is only open to adults ages 18 and above.

Cost: $75.00 for Aquarium Annual Pass members, $100.00 for non-members.

Price includes: Aquarium admission (before and after program), mattress, $10.00 food voucher for dinner, quick breakfast, behind-the-scenes tours and a lot of fun.

Date: Friday, August 15, 2008, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following day

What to Bring: Each person should bring a sleeping bag, pillow and all other necessary personal effects (showers not available).

Note: All parties will sleep in a community sleeping area in front of gallery windows

Schedule of Events:

• Guest will check in at the member entrance between 6:00 – 8:30pm.
• Enjoy the sounds of Alva Anderson, Jazz artist visiting Atlanta from New York City. For more than 20 years Alva has sang throughout New York City and shared her love for music with her students in the New York City public schools.
• Enjoy a light meal from Café Aquaria while enjoying the music and using a $10 food voucher. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased by participant at bars located in Café Aquaria until 9:00 p.m. 
•  Meet overnight staff at the entrance of the 4D Theater for overnight program at 9:00pm.
• Learn more about our animals during an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Ocean Voyager, presented by The Home Depot; Tropical Diver, presented by AirTran Airways; the beluga whale exhibit in Coldwater Quest, presented by Georgia-Pacific; River Scout, presented by Southern Company; Correll Center for Aquatic Animal Health; Ocean Voyager pump room and the commissary.

  After everyone has gone home, and the Aquarium has closed its doors for the night, we invite you to join us for an exciting night of exploration!  Get ready to explore the Aquarium through a variety of special activities, tours, a giant scavenger hunt, animal encounters and more!  Price includes admission into the Aquarium, Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow, behind the scenes tour, guided adventure through the galleries, a mattress to sleep on, fun activities, dinner, evening snack and breakfast.

  “Ocean Odyssey on the SS Star”
  After everyone has gone home, and the Aquarium has closed its doors for the night, we invite you to join us for an exciting night of exploration!  Take your group on a cruise on the “SS Star” to the deep waters of the ocean and its coral reefs. Get ready to explore the Aquarium through a variety of special activities, tours, animal encounters and more!  Price includes admission into the Aquarium, Deepo’s Undersea 3D Wondershow, behind the scenes tour, guided adventure through the galleries, a mattress to sleep on, fun activities, dinner, evening snack and breakfast.
  
  This program is open to youth groups with more than ten people.  Smaller groups should book a family sleepover, which is listed above.
